About religion

Religion is a Jail and all the leaders are Superintendents there. All the subordinate swamis/priests/ustads enact their roles of Jail assistants. The exemption of the prisoners is outside the Jail, similarly the salvation of the society is outside the religion, in spirituality. To be released from prison we need an advocate. Equivalently to be liberated from religion, you need a rebel. Mohammed Nabi, Jesus Christ, Swami Vivekananda, Shirdi Sai Baba, Sree Narayana Guru were all rebels. A majority of the antagonists were born in India, in fact still being born and molded in this sand of eternal sanctity. They never had religion. But they strived for resourceful motives and were successful. Even though several associations and political parties volunteer and conduct programs focused on sustaining religious harmony, more or less they turn out to be void spectacles of masses of Islamic skull caps or priests in robes clustered or inflated displays of men in kavi dhothis. The pageant usually signifies worthless propaganda with no fruitful outcome. Let the advocate of Christianity embrace his faith, let an Islam entwine his belief and a Hindu remain to be a Hindu always. The transition to a different faith and belief is an infantile and absurd action to all the fanatics concerned. I will not chop the tree of conviction and belief nurtured and cherished by our honorable ancestors.I will also preserve them, water and treasure them. I am not against any religion. I do have Islam and Christian brothers who are my ardent patrons and companions. I cannot withstand their anguish and agony. I visualize Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity as my mother's sisters, her very own counterparts. How can one adore other mothers without honoring and complimenting his own mother? When does a Christian mature as a real Christian? The holy Book says that one is a true Christian when he serves and loves his neighbor selflessly, not when they nourish their respective Sabha. And how does one evolve as a true Hindu? Once they prosper intellectually to show reverence to their non-Hindu brothers and nurture cosmopolitan attitudes, then only they are entitled to be referred to as a Hindu. In my spiritual garden of eternal harmony I yearn to behold the beauty and relish the fragrance of a sprouting Christian flower, Muslim flower, Hindu flower, Sikh flower, Jain flower and Buddha flower from their respective plants.

About spirituality

The system of beliefs, termed Religion, never impart any enlightenment. This customary doctrine of faiths only tie-up minds and when the predominant consciousness itself is latched how can one formulate an idea or chime in a change? The mob of devotees is captivated by the glorification of the positive aspects of the worship of the Almighty and only the beneficial elements are highlighted. Generally, the widespread misconception being conveyed is "surrender to the Creator, do anything for Him, all that you sacrifice for Him will lead you to the path of Moksha (salvation)". In any respect, spirituality is quite different from religiosity. When you evolve spiritually, you tend to deviate from religiosity and when you are immersed in religiousness you never prosper into a spiritual being. If you are bestowed with virtuous parents, you earn an exemplary Guru and as a consequence you will be blessed with the fortune of experiencing precise knowledge and awareness. The flavor of sugar is sweet. You relish its savor only when you taste it. Nobody can define the taste of sugar. Likewise, spirituality is a condition of mind, more or less, an urge. The cosmopolitan approach of the new urbanity is to trade spirituality. What I yearn to imply is that if one is capable of selling the two conditions of man's basic urge, the feeling before one's bowel movements and the relief after that, evidently then spirituality can also be sold out. Spirituality elevates your souls to an abstract condition where you detach yourself from the emotional, irrational ties of the universe. The ethereal sense of oneness with the divinity inculcates in you the spirit of fortitude and morale which succor you in attaining eternal harmony. The three modes to secure spiritual enlightenment are bhakthi, yukthi and mukthi. Bhakthi being the simplest form, offer a stepping stone towards yukthi which rejuvenates the mind to obtain the ultimate mukthi. One who is spiritually blessed will seek insight from within, from his own self, but the religious, pretentious souls wander about, outside with their endless search. The fundamental reality is that you need not elude from this world but from your carnal, ephemeral body.
